We recently had the oppurtunity to check out a new evnet venue, Arbuckle Creek! This venue is a multigenerational heritage homestead in Avon Park, FL. This elevated rural property is not only home to the esteemed FL Cracker Cattle breed but also serves as a venue for intimate Farm to Table dinners, private events, and organic vegetable cultivation. Arbuckle Farms invited us to participate in a special branding shoot that had a dual purpose—it doubled as a joyous baby shower for a former intern. In this blog post, we will talk about the process we underwent throughout the day, bringing to life two distinct vibes that perfectly complemented the venue and occasion.
The Joyful Baby Shower:
When we first set foot on the grounds of Arbuckle Creek, we were immediately captivated by the serene beauty surrounding us. To create an atmosphere that harmonized with the overall aesthetic and vibe, we carefully selected a palette of soft whites, soothing blues, and subtle touches of pale yellow. Italian pit and huck foliage provided a lush green backdrop, while the delicate charm of white lisianthus, hellebore, and Queen Anne's lace added a touch of elegance. To infuse a refreshing pop of blue, we incorporated blue delphinium, which seamlessly tied in with the rest of the decor. Completing the floral arrangements were the exquisite toffee roses and candlelight roses, radiating warmth.
We mustn't forget to mention the invaluable contribution from Treasury Rentals and Vivant Rentals, whose stunning inventory enhanced the beauty of our arrangements. Working alongside some of our favorite vendors, we not only discovered great collaboration but also cherished friendships that made the design process even more extraordinary.
Amidst the festivities, we took a moment to explore the nearby swamp. With the landscape's natural beauty inspiring us, we foraged for the essential elements that would be used to make breathtaking statement floral arrangements. Time was of the essence, and we gathered what we needed before returning to the venue.
Back at the ceremony location, arms full of the branches we collected, we began crafting the floral statement pieces. We carefully selected branches that naturally curved in different directions, allowing us to create an arrangement that exuded organic beauty and lively movement. The final result was an altar adorned with a stunning floral moment, brimming with life and enchantment.
The Flipping of the Space:
As the day progressed, the venue transformed from a joyful baby shower to a modern wedding backdrop. Black accents replaced the blues, bringing forth a contemporary ambiance. To adapt the floral arrangements for this new look, we traded the blue blooms with an array of purple campanula, clematis, and delicate touches of lilac. With a touch of magic, the space was converted to a modern and romantic atmosphere, ready to be immortalized through the lens.
Our time at Arbuckle Creek was the perfect mix of creativity and collaboration. The seamless fusion of nature's gifts, the rural elegance of the venue, and the essence of each occasion culminated in two uniquely different vibes. From the joyous baby shower that embraced the colors of life to the modern wedding that exuded romance and sophistication, we witnessed the power of design to transform spaces and evoke emotions.

This shoot not only allowed us to create captivating floral arrangements but also enabled us to forge lasting connections with the remarkable vendors involved. It is through these opportunities that we continue to push the boundaries of our craft and bring visions to life.
